We decided to go see a movie for our next date. On Saturday
I took the dentist to see the Hunger Games since I spent most of the night before
talking about how great the book series was and why he should take the time to
read it. It was my second time to see the movie so I was excited and awake to
his reactions instead of feeling on the edge of my seat like I was at the first
showing.
Anyways, once again I thought the dentist would try to at
least hold my hand during the movie…. But instead he put his arm on top of the
armrest like boys used to do in high school. Try to think back about how
awkward the first hand-hold used to be… they would just put it out there
showing that they want to hold your hand, but not actually trying…
I gave him half of the movie to make the reach before I
decided to hold my own hand.
So date six has come and gone and no hand-holding, no kiss,
only a long hug goodbye. Is there a six date rule that I’m not aware of?
